Women who inspire us and represent the voice of many more

Our partner in the field, World Vision Colombia, helped us compile and record these heartwarming testimonials from some of the entrepreneur women who had shown incredible potential during these months of apprenticeship as part of the Motherfood Project Colombia 2022.

Inés’s, Marta’s, Yolanda’s and Maria Delia’s life stories represent the lives of many women in Colombia and Latin America, who despite the many challenges, have decided to be resilient, brave, and persistent for themselves, their families, and their communities.

Together with their teams in Cali, Bogotá, and Bucaramanga, these entrepreneurs are now testing and manufacturing prototypes of delicious fortified bars with the amazing support of World Vision, Alcagüete, and Motherfood International.

We are very pleased to be part of the execution of their goals as women-led teams, as they build a path to continue learning and becoming self-sufficient while betting for increased access to nutritious snacks in their neighborhoods.
